five years later, adam lanza opened fire in a newtown elementary school. how the nation chooses to answer these issues we mains to be seen. and trying to explore horrors like newtown to children and comfort them is extremely difficult. joining me now, rosa delora. she's been working this week to drive a discussion not just about guns, but about mental health treatment and helping kids cope with violence. congresswoman delora joins me now. let me ask you, i know you did this event yesterday at yale trying to sort of understand this conversation, understand how to kick off a conversation when you're talking about kids about violence in general but about this incident, what were some of the things -- i have small children. i know you have grown children and grandchildren. what was some of the advice that you received that you want to share? >> first of all, i just say this to you, chuck, that we don't know -- how do you cope with what happened last friday as a parent? it's hard for parents to get their hands around this issue. let alone children understanding
